The Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering Department hosted the annual SPE Local Paper Contest on Friday, January 25, 2013, where students had the opportunity to present their research in front of a panel of industry professionals. Judges picked the top three presenters in each division to win a monetary prize, and first and second place winners will have the opportunity to compete in the SPE Gulf Coast Regional Contest this spring, also hosted by UT PGE.
