With a low student-to-faculty ratio, UT PGE provides students with opportunities to learn from the latest technology in the classroom and participate in high-caliber undergraduate energy research to best prepare them for careers in industry. In addition, undergraduate students meet with oil and gas leaders through student organizations, learn computer programming via our study abroad program and garner field experience through petroleum engineering camps and internships.
UT Austin’s Cockrell School of Engineering remains in the No. 11 spot for engineering schools. The Cockrell School’s aerospace, chemical, civil, electrical, computer, mechanical and environmental engineering programs are all ranked in the nation’s top 10.
